Positions Available

CADRE

Cadre, also called Team Leaders, are responsible for the daily safety and management of the cadets and are the key element of the NGYCP staff to mentor, coach, train, and discipline the cadets according to the tenets of a military-like training model. Cadre should have experience with at-risk teens and sufficient physical fitness to be able to properly lead physical fitness training. Prior military experience to model and teach military customs and courtesies, as well as drill and ceremony proficiency, is desired, but not required, for every Cadre staff member.

RECRUITING, PLACEMENT AND MENTORING

As the Recruiter, Placement, and Mentoring Case Manager at the Academy, you will play a vital role in recruiting prospective students, facilitating student placement into appropriate undergraduate programs, job search and providing ongoing mentorship and support to ensure their success. You will serve as a liaison between the school, Cadets, military branches, and other stakeholders to promote the benefits of our educational programs and facilitate seamless transitions for students entering and exiting the school.

EDUCATORS

As a teacher at our Academy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic, personal, and character development of our students. This unique educational environment blends traditional high school curriculum with structured military-inspired routines, fostering discipline, leadership, and academic excellence. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering instruction, and providing mentorship to students within a supportive and structured residential community.
